RICSNT GOALS
RICSNT is known as
the Rhode Island
Certified School Nurse-Teachers. RICSNT is a member of the
National Association of School Nurses, Inc., an affiliate of the
National Education Association.
The strategic plan goals of
RICSNT shall be:
1. By
June 30, 2014, Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teachers Organization will
have successfully advocated for the employment of a School Nurse Consultant for
the State of Rhode Island.
2. By
June 30, 2014 the Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teachers Organization
will have increased the number of school nurse teachers throughout the state by
10%.
3. By
June 30, 2011, the Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teachers Organization
will have increased the RICSNT membership to 90% of all Certified School Nurse
Teachers in Rhode Island.
4. By
June 30, 2013, the Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teachers will have
measured a significant positive difference in the perception of the role of
School Nurse Teachers.
5. By
June 30, 2011 the Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teachers will have
improved and increased communication among its members and with the school
communities.
