The School Nurse.com site is provided by School Health Alert.
There is a research page and a library page with articles on
various topics of interest to school nurses. Their links page has
numerous website links of interest, in particular the School Nurse
Discussion Group- an international listserv you can join. Also of
interest are the links to a School Nurse Website of Gerri Harvey and a Home Page of Martha Dewey
Bergren.
SCHLRN-L (School Nurse Listserv)
This is a national and international discussion
group for school nurses. There is a wealth of information, ideas, and
sharing of common problems and solutions to everyday school nursing. It
is also interesting to see the great differences and challenges of
school nurses as the practice varies from state to state or country.
The listserv was founded, and is owned and managed by Martha
Dewey Bergren. She has a doctorate in nursing .She is a Clinical
Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of
Nursing. She is nationally certified in both Nursing Informatics and

to subscribe to join the listserv. When you click on the link, the page
will state: "Name of List to join or leave: " and there will be a blank
box to fill in the name. TYPE: SCHLRN-L in the blank box
and follow the directions to join the listserv. If you have
